A fortified training outpost on the road south of Valderin’s Gate, Jarren’s Outpost serves as a storehouse and trading nexus for a variety of goods coming in from the surrounding southern settlements.
Unrefined goods of all kinds—lumber, minerals, hides, rare creatures—are brought to the outpost to trade. Some refined goods such as alcohols, leathergoods and woven textiles are also traded there.
Jarren’s Outpost is run by Jarren; the man has a reputation for fair, if tough, trading. Extremely welcoming to former business partners, he is wary of new traders. Old hats are allowed to stay the night, with the standing rule than anyone who goes after his daughters or nieces (his family lives with him and assists him in matters of business) is fair game for his axe.
